In 2018, SVT revealed that gang criminals were allowed to live in luxury apartments to stop committing crimes. But the apartments became a haunt and where explosives and drugs were stored.

The company that ran the luxury housing did not have a permit from Ivo to run support housing for young people between 16-20 years, and the representatives were reported to the police while the women in the social services escaped prosecution.

In the social administration, it was “not known” that the supported housing did not have a permit, and chose not to check this either.

– We have made it clearer and easier for our social secretaries to choose the right efforts, says Anna von Reis, head of department at the labor market and social administration in Malmö.

The company's two representatives have each received a penalty order of SEK 13,000 and SEK 11,000 respectively for violations of the Social Services Act.
