Abroad. The Taliban government now bans all but foreigners evacuating to move in the area around Kabul airport. The reason is the poor security situation around the US-occupied airport, according to the BBC.

< The Foreign Ministry now says that they are working to "evacuate" everyone on the so-called Swedish list. The "Swedish list" consists of Afghans with a residence permit or Swedish citizenship who are on holiday in the country they moved from, and who are considered entitled to tax-financed charter plans that will take them to Sweden again. There may also be Swedes on the Swedish list.
– I am quite confident that we will be able to evacuate all local expatriates and their families. But it is not certain that we will be able to evacuate everyone on the Swedish list, because it is growing all the time, Ann Linde tells Ekot.
