Kulturnyheter. Svenska Dagbladet has visited Björn Ranelid in Österlen to find out if the author has “become radicalized”. Björn Ranelid has caused concern among the cultural left after writing Facebook posts that attack the immigrant-related crime. In early July, after the police murder in Gothenburg, he called the politicians for “traitors” who “betray Sweden and pave the way for murderers, parasites and enemies”. From Björn Ranelid's side, however, it has hardly always sounded that way. In connection with the 2014 parliamentary election, the author's “open letter” to Jimmie Åkesson was published in Dagens Nyheter with formulations such as: “Jimmie, your hair is blacker than night and you could have been Turkish, Kurdish or Roma.” But when Ranelid is now asked by SvD if “SD is right”, the answer is: “Yes, they have.” At the same time, however, he states that he is not himself a Sweden Democrat. He also says that he has received inquiries from alternative media such as Riks, Bulletin and Nyheter Idag. – I have not answered any of them and will not answer them in the future. I do not want to be associated with that view. Will never sell me to the phalanx that despises people because of skin color, says Björn Ranelid to SvD about these media.
