– One thing we must be very clear about: we will never go back to 2015. Sweden will not end up there again, says Stefan Löfven to Dagens Nyheter.
The background to the outcome is the situation in Afghanistan, a country once again suffering from large-scale emigration after the Taliban took power.
However, Löfven downplays the situation. The Prime Minister states that there will of course be “more” people leaving their homes, but “probably primarily to other areas in Afghanistan and the surrounding area”.
