The Exynos W920 relies on Samsung's current 5 nm production including EUV lithography and should offer more performance in the smallest of spaces.
The Exynos W920 inherits the almost three-year-old Exynos 9110. The new name also directly reveals the big leap in the generation. Instead of two Cortex-A53 cores and a GPU of the type Mali-T720 MP1, all manufactured in 10 nm, the newcomer will rely on two Cortex-A55 cores and Mali-G68 GPU from the 5 nm production. Samsung still does not explain exact clock rates, but speaks of high performance, plus 20 percent for the CPU and even ten times the performance for the GPU, and efficiency for the next generation of wearables.

The display support of the new SoC increases slightly to 960 × 540 pixels, an additional small Cortex-M55 processor takes over the task of the always-on functions, so that the more powerful A55 cores can sleep during this time.
