Apple wants more iOS 15 beta testers, but is now the right time? [poll]

As in previous years, Apple is sending an invitation to people who have previously signed up for the public beta program. The more people participate, even with older and less common devices, the more problems can be solved before the official release. Apparently, Apple finds the current beta release stable enough to convince the less avid beta testers as well. Is that true? In the polls below and in the comments you can let us know about your experiences!

Last month, Apple kicked off the public beta, for anyone interested in trying iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15. Now that a few public betas have already been released, the group of testers can be further expanded, Apple believes. An email should encourage people who have previously participated to join the betas as well. That happens every year, but every year it is a personal decision whether this is the right time.

Are there enough new features to install the beta now? And is the most recent beta (iOS 15 beta 4) stable enough? That varies from year to year and it also depends on which apps and features you will use the most. iOS 15 doesn't actually contain any new features that you really need urgently. Focus is useful for better concentration, but the new Safari and Apple Maps take some getting used to. And the new notifications don't always work as you expect.

At least that's our experience, but what do you think? Have you already installed the beta and if so, which one?

There are many similarities in iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS 12 Monterey, such as improved FaceTime, custom Safari, SharePlay for content sharing, and the new ‘Shared with you‘ in iMessage. You therefore only need to install one of the betas to be able to test a new function. But of course you can also go crazy and make the switch to all your devices now.

We are curious about your experiences with the betas so far!
