165 Hz is the new 144 Hz. This impression arises as more and more gaming monitors have higher refresh rates. AOC and iiyama also have newcomers with 165 Hz. Both deliver WQHD resolution on around 32 inches diagonal.
Prad discovered the AOC Q32G3S on a Chinese product page. It is unclear whether and when the monitor will appear in Europe. The iiyama G-Master GB3271QSU-B1 Red Eagle will again be available shortly in Germany and will cost around 450 euros.

There are deviations in the other key data. According to the data sheet, the iiyama monitor offers a higher brightness (400 instead of 250 cd/m²) and a higher contrast ratio (1,200: 1 instead of 1,000: 1). The iiyama model also offers more connections and has two DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 2.0s as well as a USB hub with four ports. The AOC monitor offers DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 sockets, but no USB. Both models have an audio output, integrated speakers are only available from iiyama. There is a height adjustment in both cases, there is no pivot function.

165 Hz are becoming more common, 360 Hz are still rare
HP has recently introduced a total of seven gaming monitors in the X series, all of which also work with 165 Hz. Models with 240 Hz or even 360 Hz have long been available, but the latter are still very rare. With the AGON PRO AG254FG, AOC recently also offers a 360 Hz monitor.
