Volkswagen a few days ago shared some new teasers of the ID.5 and precisely of the ID.5 GTX . This is the Coup & eacute; of its ID.4 electric SUV. Although the car in the pictures has some camouflage it can be clearly see its practically final design. The differences compared to the current SUV are basically all behind with a different roofline and with a spoiler above the trunk.

GTX VERSION
As mentioned at the beginning, the teasers show the GTX variant, the one that will be able to; rely on a double electric motor and therefore have four-wheel drive. The German brand has not shared images of the interiors but there will be no particular surprises since they will be those of the ID.4.
More is not serious; clear in how many versions the ID.5 will be; proposal. The teaser model features a powertrain of 220 kW (299 hp) and 460 Nm of torque . If performance does not vary from the ID.4 GTX, you will need to & agrave; expect speed maximum of 180 km/h (electronically limited) and a 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. Powering the whole is an 82 kWh battery (77 kWh usable) that allows recharging up to 11 kW in AC and up to 125 kW in DC.
All the secrets of the ID.5 and the GTX version will be unveiled when Volkswagen will bring & agrave; the new car is making its debut. The fact that the manufacturer shared these teasers is; the signal that the presentation could be shortly missing. The Munich Motor Show is held in September and it could be the right opportunity to unveil the new model which, we recall, rests on the MEB platform. ID.5 will be built inside the plant in Zwickau .
Soon, therefore, the Volkswagen ID family will be; destined to expand further. It seems, however, that the new Volkswagen ID.5 can only be sold within the European market.
