Abroad. A 27-year-old Somali who went out on the town to cut down people with a knife was shot at the last minute by the police in Frankfurt on Saturday, reports Bild.

The alarm came at 11.50 when an eyewitness contacted the police and warned that a man was walking around and threatening others with a knife on Elbestrasse in central Frankfurt.
The man, who turned out to be a 27-year-old Somali, had previously entered a building and attacked a 65-year-old man who managed to defend himself with pepper spray.
When the police arrive at the scene, they are met by the Somali who walks around in town – with a knife in each hand.
A policeman follows the Somali closely with drawn weapons and urges him to drop his knives, which he does not do.
But when the Somali measures a stab at the 65-year-old, who has come out on the street, he is shot by the police and the man who was attacked manages with the mere fright.
The Somali hits his thigh and collapses, but is said to have survived with minor injuries , writes Bild.
In June, three people were killed in German Wuerzburg after another Somali attacked with a knife.
Apart from Bild, no German major newspaper wrote about the incident in Frankfurt, and no one has published the video above.
