Vaccine in tablet form is being tested in Israel

Abroad. A study with corona vaccine in tablet form has been launched in Israel. This is “incredibly welcome”, according to Sweden's vaccine coordinator Rikard Bergström.

– There are many who would prefer a tablet to a needle stick, says Rikard Bergström to TV4.

The idea is that it should be enough to take a tablet to be fully vaccinated against covid-19, writes Times of Israel.

The pill was created by Oramed Pharmaceuticals and is being developed by India-based Premas Biotech, which announced in March that it had successfully generated antibodies in pigs.
