PERSONALIZED ADVICE
The pilot project is taking place in Germany in collaboration with the European Mobility Data Space and the German National Meteorological Service. The goal of integrating local weather forecasts, as mentioned at the beginning, is to allow Free Now to offer customers personalized advice and information about the mobility option; more adapt according to the local weather, in order to improve their travel experience.
For example, in case of good weather, the platform will be able to suggest the use of Cooltra electric scooters or Voi Technology electric scooters. If the weather forecast indicates bad weather, the app will suggest; the use of taxis or car sharing. This novelty, as well as in Italy, will arrive; also in all other countries where Free Now services are present. On a technical level, the integration allows the app to receive real-time data on climatic conditions based on the user's location.
For example, if the forecast foresees rain and the user clicks on the section dedicated to two wheels, the app will send; automatically a message informing the user that the weather forecast is not ideal for renting a scooter. The app will suggest therefore to request a taxi or to use the car sharing service. Conversely, in case of sunny weather, the app will advise you. to consider the possibility; to use a micro mobility service; with a lower environmental impact if the user is about to request a taxi.
