A large number of alarms about suspected drownings have been received this weekend.
At 11 o'clock on Saturday, a woman in her 70s drowned in Flen. Then, within the space of a day, four more people died in drowning accidents in Sweden. It concerns three men and a woman, writes Aftonbladet.
According to the Swedish Lifesaving Society's preliminary compilation, 23 people died in drowning accidents in June, which is the second highest figure since the turn of the millennium.
