Thermaltake Floe RC Ultra: AiO cooling for CPU and RAM with dual display

Thermaltake is now following the compact water cooling systems of the Toughliquid Ultra series with the Floe RC Ultra, which is equipped with two or three 120 mm performance fans instead of RGB fans. The unusual all-in-one solutions with 240 or 360 mm radiators are potentially stronger with the addition of Ultra.

Extravagant All -in-one water cooler without RGB fan

As a special feature of various established AiO solutions from other manufacturers, Thermaltake proposes an extended area of ​​application for PC cooling, just as with the Floe RC240 ARGB and Floe RC360 ARGB Floe coolers shown above. Because not only the processor is integrated into the cooling circuit of the Floe RC Ultra, in addition, the waste heat from compatible RAM modules is managed by the AiO solution from Thermaltake.

With the new all-in-one system, Thermaltake aims to provide a complete solution for enthusiasts and those users who not only do strong overcklocking with the CPU, but also want to significantly increase the performance of the main memory. However, the manufacturer has imposed factory restrictions on the expanded all-in-one water cooling systems Floe RC Ultra 240 and Floe RC Ultra 360, because – at least currently – only RAM modules from the Toughram family can be integrated into the liquid cooling system. In addition to cooling, these must also be purchased. Nothing has changed in this situation since the introduction at the beginning of last year.

240 and 360 radiators are available

As classic AiO liquid cooling, the Floe RC Ultra 240 and the Floe RC Ultra 360 also rely on the CPU cooler known from the Floe siblings with a base plate made of copper that is directly connected to the pump unit. In addition, there is no additional expansion tank. Already filled with the coolant at the factory, the biggest difference between the two is, as usual with Thermaltake, the size of the radiator and the number of fans installed.

While the Floe RC Ultra 240 has a 240 mm heat exchanger in combination with two 120 mm fans, the Floe RC Ultra 360 has a radiator with a length of 360 millimeters together with three identical 120 millimeters Fans. New to the Ultra models are the Toughfan 12 Turbo fans, which have a higher maximum speed of 2,500 rpm. Previous Floe coolers were equipped with fans rotating at a maximum of 2,000 rpm.

One display on both cooling blocks

The Ultra-AiO also has a 2.1-inch LC display in the pump cover. This can display status information such as temperature or voltage of the CPU in real time, but graphics and images individually created via software can also be displayed. Another 3.9 inch LC display sits above the cooling block for the RAM modules. This can output selected operating parameters of the memory modules or be used to display your own images.

Already available from the manufacturer

For the unusual AiO solutions of the Floe-RC-Ultra series, Thermaltake estimates impressive prices even for the premium segment. The Floe RC Ultra 240 model is available in the manufacturer's shop for 389.90 euros, the larger Floe RC Ultra 360 cooler costs 424.90 euros. In the price comparison, none of the compact water coolers can be found yet.
