The fan is also said to have been optimized, although at least the volume remains identical with a maximum of 23.7 dBA. Another new feature is that the scope of delivery includes another pair of wire brackets so that an additional fan can be connected if necessary.

Otherwise the properties of the predecessor are completely adopted. The single-tower cooler has four heat pipes. The dimensions of 74 × 137 × 161 mm should not collide with the RAM memory banks, so that memory modules with protruding heat sinks can also be used.

The Shadow Rock Slim 2 is compatible with all common consumer platforms from Intel and AMD. As a recommended price, be quiet! around 46 euros. The predecessor is currently trading at prices from around 38 euros.
