What happened to the ISEE bonus for the purchase of electric cars ? It was a particular incentive introduced with an amendment to the 2021 Budget Law, designed for families with ISEE under 30 thousand euros which allowed them to obtain a contribution of 40% for the purchase of an electricity from price below 30 thousand euros (excluding VAT) and with power not exceeding 150 kW. The last update dates back to the end of March when it seemed that the implementing decree was finally ready to make this bonus officially available.

It seemed that very little was missing but since then there has been none; known more nothing. The problem that blocked the ISEE bonus process for electric cars is; relating to the wording of the amendment to the Budget Law containing this special incentive. Apparently, it was missing a specific reference to the & quot; tax credit & quot; for dealers. When customers buy a car with incentives, the discount is paid directly by the dealer who then recovers it through the tax credit mechanism.
A & quot; corrective amendment & quot; to the Sostegni bis decree to add the reference to the tax credit which, however, is not never arrived. For this, the process to make the incentive available is been stopped. However, an attempt will be made to reroll this bonus. In fact, Giuseppe Chiazzese highlighted that as M5S they will present an ad hoc amendment with the modification requested within the first useful provision.
The times, obviously, will not be short. Between the presentation and approval of the new amendment and considering all the necessary technical and bureaucratic times, the ISEE bonus for electric cars could only arrive between the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. All that remains is to wait further news.
