Cooler Master NR200P: SFF case comes more colorful and comes with hardware

The SFF housing NR200P will soon be available in four other brightly colored colors. At the same time, Cooler Master is introducing the NR200P MAX. Contrary to what the name suggests, it is not supplied larger, but with suitably manufactured, pre-assembled hardware.

The normal NR200P offers Cooler Master in Flamingo Pink, Caribbean Blue, Sunset Orange and Nightshade Purple. The colors were chosen by the sffpc sub-forum on Reddit and are applied in the form of a powder coating. As is usual with the NR200P, the scope of delivery includes a mesh and a glass side panel, which can be exchanged as required.

In contrast to the more elaborately designed Sakura Limited Edition, Cooler Master dispenses with further accents. It is unclear when and at what price the new variants will make it onto the market. However, based on the Sakura model, a significant additional price is not to be expected;

Preinstalled hardware in MAX

The black NR200P MAX differs more clearly from the other model variants. A maximum of two 3.5 “and three 2.5” HDDs can be installed here, the graphics card is also always rotated 90 degrees via PCIe 4.0 riser cable – with the standard version, this type of mounting is only an option . It can also be swiveled out for easier installation of the power cables. This feature is also reserved for the MAX.

In addition, the housing is supplied with pre-assembled hardware. For cooling, an AiO cooler with a 280 mm radiator is included, which should come from Cooler Masters third generation of complete water coolers. It can be used on AMD's AM4 and Intel platforms up to the upcoming LGA 1700 socket. The company does not provide a model name. The power supply unit is also not specifically named. It is said to be an 850 watt model with 80 plus gold certification. Cables, the length of which has been matched to the NR200P, are already laid in the housing.

Because of these peculiarities, the NR200P MAX competes with the NZXT H1 (test), which has a similar configuration is delivered. Market prices can be expected at a similar level, i.e. around 300 euros.
