Domestic. Swedish citizens must also undergo a PCR test for covid-19 on arrival in Sweden from countries outside the Nordic region. It informs FHM, which is now updating its recommendations.

Testing with a PCR test when returning to Sweden applies even if you do not have symptoms, according to FHM. The recommendation applies regardless of which country has been visited, with the exception of the Nordic countries.
People who have traveled in EU countries and have been vaccinated with a dose at least three weeks before arrival in Sweden, or those who have had covid-19 during the last six months, exempted from the recommendation but still PCR-tested for symptoms.
– The Swedish Public Health Agency has received reports of several cases of covid-19 where people have been infected in connection with nightlife abroad in nightclubs, pubs and places where new contacts are established. This then increases the risk of infection and outbreaks in Sweden, where the domestic spread of covid-19 is now at a low level, says Anders Tegnell, state epidemiologist, in a press release.
The recommendations apply from 12 July to August 31.
Previous recommendations for travelers from third countries remain unchanged.
