The photo appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo and shows an iPhone 12 Pro Max in a case for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. In this way it is easy to see the difference between the camera modules. There are already dummy models of the iPhone 13 series circulating and they usually give a good impression of what the final design will look like.
The camera modules have been moved slightly on the two cheapest models. With the Pro models, we expect a thicker camera bump that also takes up a larger surface. This photo of a case confirms it once again, but it is of course not 100% proof. When Apple announces the latest iPhones of 2021 in September, we will know for sure. Case makers often base their first production round on leaked info and rumors, in order to be able to deliver quickly once the devices are announced.
Schedules discovered earlier show that the upcoming iPhones also get a little thicker. The increase in camera module size is believed to be due to the addition of sensor-shift stabilization on all models and an improved ultra-wide angle lens on the Pro models.
