The 24-year-old Somali visited the kitchen department of a shop in Würzburg on Friday and asked where the knives were, according to local police chief Gerhard Kallert.
Then he tore the Somali to pieces. and stabbed and killed the female assistant and two other women in the store.
He then seriously injured five other women, injuring a child, at a bank and out on the street.
One of the injured are still fighting for their lives, while two have been released from the hospital.
“The indications of radicalization, in this case Islamism, and mental health problems are not necessarily mutually exclusive,” a police spokesman said. p>
