SVT reported earlier on Sunday that the January parties had agreed on a compromise on the issue of free rent in new construction to avoid a government crisis.
According to the proposal, “housing market parties” would be invited to a talks where they would negotiate market rents. According to the January parties, the compromise means that one of the Left Party's demands is met, and thus it should be possible to avoid the government falling in the no – confidence vote on Monday, the parties considered.
But now the Left Party announces that the proposal is rejected.
