It is not; a mystery that Germany is investing in the development of a charging network for electric cars. This is an important commitment to be able to support the increase of battery-powered cars on the roads. Moreover, most of the builders have been asking for precise plans for a rapid growth of these infrastructures for some time. On the German source, now comes a novelty; which could open interesting scenarios for the future and which directly concerns Tesla.

SUPERCHARGER OPEN TO ALL IN GERMANY

Andreas Scheuer , the German transport minister, would be discussing with Tesla the possibility ; that the American manufacturer opens its Supercharger network also to all other electric vehicles in the country. The minister, in an interview with the German newspaper Neue Osnabruecker Zeitung, highlighted how there are some technical problems to be solved. However, he expects to find a solution, adding that the goal is; to ensure that consumers can access charging stations of all brands with a single payment system, ideally via smartphone.

Apparently the German government is not talking only with Tesla but also with other manufacturers that have their own network. The goal appears clear and that is; make the most infrastructure available to people; as large as possible for energy supply that can be easily managed through a single application. In this way, the diffusion of electric vehicles could be adequately supported.

A project certainly very interesting about which we will know; more & ugrave; over the next few months. Tesla will accept & agrave; to open its Superchargers? Basically, Elon Musk yes & egrave; always said in favor of this possibility. Indeed, in the past he had made it known that he already had; opened its network to third parties even if it was specific cases (it was speculated of Aptera). Here we would speak of something quite different with the possibility; that its charging stations are used en masse by other electric users.

This could disappoint and not a little the Tesla owners who would risk finding the charging points occupied, which would complicate rapid energy supplies . At this point one thinks that there may also be something else behind it and maybe some further government investment that allows Tesla, if this project were to really materialize, to expand the number of stalls available to people. This is all speculation, of course. All that remains is to wait for further developments of this initiative.
