The partnership between Ikea and Sonos is entering the next round. After smart speakers of the conventional type and as a table lamp, the latest offshoot of the Symfonisk series (test) is supposed to combine even more design and sound as a picture frame. The artful front can easily be changed.
Smart art
Like the bookshelf loudspeaker and the smart table lamp, the new Symfonisk frame can be used both individually and in combination with other devices from the Symfonisk series. Integration into an existing Sonos system is also possible. The pictures are 56 × 40 × 6 cm in size and are powered by a cable. The music is played via the Sonos app, which supports many streaming services, or alternatively AirPlay 2. Direct Bluetooth is not supported.

Start in July for 179 euros
From July 15th, the Symfonisk frame should be available in furniture stores and in the Ikea online shop. The price for a complete loudspeaker with a motif is 179 euros, new covers should be available for around 30 euros. The Symfonisk bookshelf speaker is now available for 99 euros and the table lamp for 179 euros.
