With the Soundcore Life P3, Anker is expanding its own wireless in-ear headphone series with the successor to the Life P2. Compared to its predecessor, the new model offers active noise cancellation, two transparency modes and wireless charging. The protection class drops from IPX7 to IPX5.
The dynamic drivers in the Soundcore Life P3 measure 11 mm in diameter. Six microphones should also ensure a clear voice for the wearer when telephoning. Bluetooth 5.0 is used for radio transmission. SBC and AAC are supported as audio codecs.
The battery life indicates Soundcore with up to 7 hours when the ANC is deactivated. With activated noise suppression, the battery life should be up to 6 hours when the volume is set to 60 percent. The charging case provides up to 35 hours of battery life and can be charged either wirelessly according to the Qi standard or via USB-C. If the earphones are charged for 10 minutes, the battery life is sufficient for two hours of music playback. The charging case measures 60.92 × 52.88 × 30.97 mm and weighs 49.8 grams. Each earphone weighs 4.93 grams.

Anker Soundcore Life P3 For operation, the Soundcore Life P3 rely on a touch control that can be adjusted by the user in order to assign functions such as play/pause, forwards/backwards and the volume himself. Voice assistants can also be activated via the earphones. To adjust the fit in the ear, Anker supplies five pairs of silicone earplugs from XS to XL.
Three ANC, two transparency modes and additional ones Functions
Via the app, the Life P3 offers the three modes for noise suppression that are already known from other Soundcore products: the transport mode, which acts as the strongest ANC mode, the outdoor mode, which is primarily intended to block out street noise, and the indoor mode, which tries to eliminate votes. There are also two transparency modes to choose from in order to perceive the surroundings. The app also offers a gaming mode that highlights the sound effects in games, a sleep mode that plays white noise to help the user fall asleep, a tip-fit mode to check that the earbuds are properly seated, and a new “Find Your Earbuds” function, which emits a high-frequency noise so that the earbuds can be found more easily if they are still within Bluetooth range.
