NEW ELECTRICS COMING IN ITALY
We start from Seres that can & ograve; rely on offices in China and in Silicon Valley where & egrave; born (today it is part of the Chinese Chongqing Sokon Industry Group). The Seres 3 and Seres 5 models will arrive in Italy. The first is; a C-SUV with a 53.6 kWh battery, DC charging up to 50 kW, range up to 300 km according to the WLTP cycle and a 120 kW (163 HP) engine. It is offered in a single Premium version. Price from 27,450 euros (with discount and state incentive of 10,000 euros)
The second model, on the other hand, is; a D-SUV available in full-electric version with a 90 kWh battery and in EVR (range extender) version with 35 kWh accumulator and 1.5 turbo petrol engine with generator function. Seres 5 offers an autonomy of over 500 km and a fast recharge in DC (100 kW) in 30 minutes. Different trim levels are available, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive for powers ranging from 255 kW (347 hp) with 520 Nm of torque for the RWD to 510 kW (694 hp) with 1,040 Nm for the AWD. The most popular version high performance sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Prices still not disclosed.
We then move on to Aiways, a Chinese brand based in Shanghai and Munich. Already present in some European markets, it now arrives also in Italy. Specifically, Koelliker will porter & agrave; the U5 model and in the future also the U6 . The Aiways U5 & egrave; a D-SUV with a 63 kWh battery capable of offering a range of up to 410 km (WLTP). The engine has an output of 150 kW (204 hp). The car supports OTA updates. Prices not disclosed.
Weltmeister & egrave; a very young Chinese brand. In Italy, the importer will bring the model W5 , a C-SUV offered with battery packs of 52 and 66 kWh for an autonomy that can be; reach up to 450 km. The car is equipped with digital instrumentation and an infotainment connected with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto supports. The engine delivers 160 kW (217 hp). Prices not disclosed yet.
Karma does not need many introductions as it is; an American brand already; very well known. In Italy will arrive & agrave; the Karma GS-6, version equipped with range extender (BMW 1.5-liter turbo engine) and 28 kWh battery. The total autonomy reaches up to 575 km. The two electric motors deliver 394 kW (536 hp) with 746 Nm of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Prices not disclosed. Towards the end of 2021 it will be; also available a 100% electric version with batteries of over 100 kWh that will allow; an autonomy of over 400 km.
Finally, Maxus, a light commercial vehicle brand part of SAIC Motors, also arrives in Italy. The range is composed of eDeliver 3 , a small LCV, and eDeliver 9 , a mid-large LCV. Prices start at 30,409.84 excluding VAT and 55,368.85 excluding VAT.
