Four minutes of space for several million US dollars

During the first manned space flight of his space company Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos and his brother as well as several space tourists are to be brought into space in a space capsule by a launch vehicle of the New Shepard type for around four minutes above the so-called Kármán Line at a height of 100 kilometers.

You see the earth from space and it changes you. It changes your relationship with this planet, with humanity.

Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos himself published a one-minute video on Instagram in which he tells his brother he called his best friend, invites you on a journey into space and explains his motivation.

For the four other fellow travelers into space, the trip to the stars will be expensive. The bid for the last of the four remaining seats on board the space capsule is currently more than 3.5 million US dollars. Bids will be accepted until July 12th.

I want to do this flight because that's what I already have wanted to do all my life. It's an adventure. It's a big deal for me.
