Abroad. French President Emmanuel Macron received an ear file from a man during an official visit to southeastern France, reports BBC News.

In a video circulating on social media, Macron is seen walking towards a crowd during a trip to Tain-l'Hermitage outside the city of Valence.
A man in a green t-shirt then slaps the liberal president in the face, whereupon the bodyguards quickly intervene and Macron is dragged away from the scene.
Two men have been arrested after the incident, French media report.
The man reportedly shouted “Ned with macronism “when he lashed out at the president, writes BBC News.
