We hardly watch TV traditionally anymore. Streaming video services such as Apple TV + (try for free), Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime Video are more important than ever. But local providers such as Videoland, Film1 and Ziggo also have plenty to offer. More series are added every week and it is nice if you know which series, films and documentaries really stand out. We have therefore made a selection.
New on Apple TV +: Trying S02
The feel-good comedy Trying enters the second season. This series was created by BBC Studios and it was the first British series to be seen on Apple TV +. Overall, it received good reviews. The story revolves around Nikki and Jason, who are desperate to have a baby. They fail, after which they decide to adopt a baby.
The hilarious thing about this series is the clumsy friends they have, the family members who make a drama of everything and the chaotic life of the duo in general. Will these thirty-somethings be able to finally grow up and start a family? In the series we see BAFTA Award winner Imelda Staunton, Ophelia Lovibond and Oliver Chris. The second season consists of 8 episodes, which are available weekly. A third season is also coming.
