In an article, the Chinese newspaper calls the Swedish 18-year-old an “environmental princess” who does not live as she teaches.

The background to the Chinese attack on Greta Thunberg is that she in a post on Twitter earlier this month demanded that China does more to reduce its CO2 emissions, something that annoys the Asian superpower.
China claims that they are a developing country that emits significantly less carbon dioxide per capita than countries in the Western world do, and that it is therefore unfair to demand that the Chinese do more to reduce their emissions.
