Domestic. At the last minute, the police have today granted Rasmus Paludan's application to carry out a demonstration on the outskirts of Malmö tonight. At the same time, the police state that they “stand up for the equal value of all people” and will “act” if “crime” is committed during the demonstration.

Rasmus Paludan had applied to hold his “drawing Muhammad competition” in the Rosengård ghetto – but there was a rejection by the police, with reference to the order and security situation.
But now the police have given the go-ahead for the demonstration to be held on the outskirts of Malmö.
– We have made an overall assessment and come to the conclusion that based on the various parameters it is possible for the organizer to carry out a demonstration on another place than the previously stated, says Commander Petra Stenkula.
The police say they plan to be able to ensure that the demonstration can be carried out, while maintaining order and security.
– We therefore want to urge to calm and that you do not allow yourself to be provoked but have confidence that we in the police will act if crimes are committed and that we stand up for the equal value of all people and protect the safety and security of all people, says Petra Stenkula.
