ANWB Onderweg app shows more fuel and charging information on the map

Recently ANWB released version 4.9 of the app. This made it possible to report a breakdown to the roadside assistance from now on completely in the ANWB Onderweg app. In version 4.10 the emphasis is again on a completely different function, namely refueling. The Fuel tab is now called Tank & amp; Load and has a new layout. If you are in a hurry with the update and want to try it now, you can reinstall the app or look for the update yourself; then you will be offered it faster. In the meantime, the team is also working on a larger update to version 5.0.

ANWB Onderweg 4.10 with Tank & amp; Load

Tank & amp; Charge is a newly designed tab, where you can now view all petrol stations, charging stations and fast chargers in the area on one map. In the 4.9 version it were two separate cards.

Another improvement is that you can now immediately see the prices of the selected fuel on the map, making it easier to find a cheap pump. In previous versions you could see what the price level was like at a specific gas station by the color (green, orange or red), but you had to tap it per location to see what the exact price was. ANWB has also made it easier to search in other locations, for example around your destination.

You have to choose the filters yourself to determine what you see on the map. For example, you can also only turn on fast chargers. In the coming weeks, the information about charging stations will be further expanded with availability and prices. ANWB is investing heavily in electric driving, including its own charging card and the option of ordering a charging station for at home.

The parking and fuel information in the app only applies to the Netherlands, but you can now use three apps to report a breakdown while on holiday: ANWB Onderweg, Roadside Assistance or Vakantiehulp.
