At the end of March, Volkswagen announced the upcoming arrival of a new SUV compact for the European market. It will be called & agrave; Taigo and sar & agrave; officially shown during the summer and then arrive in dealerships, in Italy, at the beginning of 2022. We know that this model will be derived strictly from the Nivus, a vehicle that & egrave; recently launched in South America and that & egrave; already for sale in Brazil.
This new compact SUV & egrave; has now been intercepted on the road in Europe engaged in some tests. The interesting thing is; which is not; no camouflage present. Therefore, & egrave; possible to take a closer look close to the template lines.

TAKE A LOOK AT TAIGO 
As it already had; got to anticipate the car manufacturer a short time ago, the new Taigo presenter & agrave; a raised structure and a coup & eacute; profile . As with the Nivus, the base is; always that of the T-Cross. On closer inspection, the similarities with the T-Cross are really many and you can & ograve; safely affirm that the Taigo can & ograve; be seen as a “sporty” version of it with lines from coup & eacute ;.
The manufacturer has already & agrave; said that as standard we will find LED headlights and that you can & agrave; equip the new car with all the latest ADAS systems to make driving more comfortable; safety. There are no images depicting the interiors but & egrave; evident that there will be strong similarities with those of the T-Cross. On request there will be; also the digital instrumentation.
There are few details on the engines that will be proposed with this model. Volkswagen had limited itself to saying that it will offer; its new compact SUV with TSI engines . With good probability it will be & agrave; of those we find today on the Polo and T-Cross. However, it is not known how many versions the new Taigo SUV will be; marketed. No anticipation on prices which, however, could probably be slightly more; high than those of the T-Cross.
At this point all that remains is to wait for further details on the characteristics of this new model from the German manufacturer. The car will be built in the plant in Pamplona, Spain .
