Opel , a couple of months ago, had shown the Manta GSe ElektroMOD for the first time . This is an interesting project by the car manufacturer that has decided to take an old glory of the past to revisit it in a modern way, also adding electric propulsion. Now, the manufacturer has shared new information on this car as well as a series of images that allow you to see it more; up close.
DESIGN AND FEATURES
However, there are some interesting ideas. The front grille, in fact, is not; of the classic type but & egrave; a unique large LED screen . Thanks to this choice & egrave; It is possible to communicate externally by making different writings appear. The front and rear lights are LED. The bodywork can & ograve; count on a lively yellow color contrasting with the black color of the bonnet. The wheel arches house 17-inch alloy wheels.
The interior has also been revised. Via the old analog gear to make room for a pi & ugrave; modern digital solution with 12-inch screen. There is also a modern infotainment with a 10-inch display. The style of the past & egrave; was, however, maintained.
The biggest change important concerns the engine now 100% electric. Under the hood we find a & # 39; unit & agrave; 108 kW with 255 Nm of torque . The traction is; rear. Curiously, the car features a 4-speed manual gearbox. The performances have not been communicated but we know that to power the engine & egrave; there is a 31 kWh battery capable of offering an autonomy up to about 200 km .
No fast charging , the accumulator will be able to be supplied with energy thanks to an on-board AC charger up to a maximum power of 9 kW. This means that it takes just under 4 hours to fill up with energy. Moreover, the Manta GSe ElektroMOD is not; made for traveling as well as for fun driving short distances. Opel has given no indication of its intention to put the car into production.
