No Man's Sky and eight other games receive support for AI upsampling on GeForce RTX with DLSS 2.0 (test) and should thus be significantly accelerated. In addition to a genre mix of action adventure and survival game, a VR game is also supported for the first time.
Up to 100 percent more FPS by Nvidia DLSS
No Man's Sky in 4K using an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (test), 32 GB DDR4 and a GeForce RTX 3080 (test) in the “Performance” preset from Nvidia DLSS in terms of frames per second is expected to increase by around 64 percent, while a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti should be accelerated by more than 80 percent. According to Nvidia's own benchmarks, a GeForce RTX 2060 renders twice as many images with DLSS as in native resolution.
DLSS should also work in No Man's Sky's “Virtual Reality Mode” and, for example, achieve twice the performance in the “Ultra” preset on an Oculus Quest 2 in conjunction with a GeForce RTX 3080.
In addition to No Man & apos; s Sky, the following eight games join the now 50 titles with official DLSS support. Some of them also get support for ray tracing.
- Everspace 2, DLSS
- Aron's Adventure, DLSS
- Wrench, DLSS + Raytracing
- AMID EVIL, DLSS + Raytracing
- Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, DLSS + Raytracing
- Redout: Space Assault, DLSS + Raytracing
- Scavengers (“Early Access”), DLSS
- Into The Radius VR, DLSS
In addition to Rust, in the last reflex (test) was integrated, Nvidia is soon to offer further titles with DLSS and ray tracing. The manufacturer has summarized further information in a GeForce blog entry.
