The upward race in fuel prices continues, as shown by the weekly data of Ministry of Economic Development published this morning.
In mode & agrave; self-service, the current cost of gasoline is; equal to 1.593 euros per liter, while that of diesel is 1.453 euros. It is, as explained by the president of the National Consumers Union Massimo Dona , of a & quot; record that had not been recorded for over a year & quot;: since, that is, petrol arrived & ograve; at 1,594 euros per liter (it was January 13, 2020) and diesel at 1,469 euros per liter (on February 3, 2020).
In just five and a half months from the survey of January 4, 2021, a full 50-liter tank is; increased by 7 euros and 58 cents for petrol and by 6 euros and 68 cents for diesel. The increase is, respectively, 10.5% and 10.1%, which on an annual basis is; equal to a car sting of 182 euros per year for petrol and 160 euros for diesel.
Compared to exactly one year ago, when petrol cost € 1,357 per liter and diesel fuel costs € 1,247 per liter, a full 50-liter tank & egrave; increased by 11 euros and 82 cents for petrol and by 10 euros and 26 cents for diesel, with an increase of 11.82% and 10.26% respectively.
