Last year, BMW showed & ograve; the concept of a very special electric scooter called Definition CE 04 which in turn derived from the previous Concept Link. At the time of the presentation, the German manufacturer had pointed out that it was a “ near-series version ''. Still, the particular lines of the electric scooter made one doubt that the final design could really be that. Apparently, however, the production version will remain & agrave; true to the concept.

FIRST LOOK AT REAL DESIGN
The electric scooter, in fact, is; been intercepted on the road without any particular camouflage. What can you & ograve; note & egrave; that the changes are really minimal. Compared to the concept we find more & ugrave; the mirrors, reflectors, turn signals and brake lights. All necessary elements to be able to legally run on the roads. There are then further minor changes but the general appearance remains unchanged.
A particular design that would have been developed to make the electric scooter practical and suitable for urban travel. Presenting the concept, BMW had emphasized that these vehicles are not born to have fun on mountain bends, but to move easily within urban environments. That's why & eacute; the powertrain was developed to meet the needs of people who generally travel about 12 km a day (there are no precise technical details yet).
Thanks to the positioning of the battery in the lower part of the scooter and to the engine compact, the concept had an illuminated compartment in which to safely place a helmet and other objects. It will be interesting to find out if the production model will also be; equipped with this feature. As the spy photos show, there will be; certainly the digital instrumentation placed inside a 10.25 inch display .
When BMW will present; officially his new electric scooter? Unfortunately there is no reliable information but it is; possible that it may arrive towards the end of the year. All that remains is to wait for further news that will allow us to better understand the contents of this project.
