The new motorway bridge will now be lifted in place at Alnarp

A stage in the reconstruction of the E6 will soon be completed. On Monday night, the new motorway bridge will be lifted on site between the Alnarp and Kronetorp junctions.

It will be replaced by a newly manufactured 8,800 tonne heavy concrete bridge that will be brought into place. The bridge has been cast next to the E6 at Åkarp and consists of six motorway lanes with four railway tracks inside the colossus.
