The Minisforum GameMini is a mini PC that combines an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (test) and a Radeon RX 6700 XT (test) in an open chassis with a tiny footprint. Visually, the compact gaming PC with its upwardly directed connections in the I/O area is reminiscent of an open benchtable.
Gaming PC meets Benchtable
Although the manufacturer based in China presents the GameMini as a fully equipped gaming system, it is basically an individually equipped barebone in the popular Mini-ITX format. The configuration presented by Minisforum is based on a Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX and is home to a Ryzen 5 of the Vermeer type and a Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming OC.
Via the short message service Twitter the company has already released the first video of the minimalist gaming PC.

While the CPU and the mainboard are built in a comparatively “classic” way, the graphics card is installed with the help of a riser card on the back of the open case accordingly.
There are also 32 GB DDR4-3200 from Kingston from the HyperX series and a 1 TB PCIe SSD in M.2 format for use. A Silverstone SX650-G with a nominal output of 650 watts and 80Plus Gold certification takes care of the power supply.
Minisforum has not yet commented on the prices and global availability of the GameMini .
