GPU rumors: Navi 24 “Beige Goby” comes as Radeon RX 6500/6400

After the graphics processors Navi 21 “Sienna Cichlid”, Navi 22 “Navy Flounder” (both published) and Navi 23 “Dimgrey Cavefish”, the Navi 24 “Beige Goby” now appears in the open source driver for the first time from AMD for Linux on. With up to 16 compute units and a maximum of 1,024 ALUs, Radeon RX 6500 and 6400 are candidates for the chip.

As the Linux specialized website Phoronix first reported, Navi is 24 first appeared in the freely accessible program code of the open source driver from AMD for Linux. When fully expanded, the chip with its 16 CUs should have up to 1,024 shaders and 4 GB GDDR6 on a 64-bit wide memory interface and also receive support for 16 MB Infinity Cache. This would make the small graphics chip a hot candidate for the Radeon RX 6500 and Radeon RX 6400.
