It is goalkeeper Niklas Rubin, defender Gustav Backström and forward trio Fredrik Olofsson, Anton Wedin and William Eklund who are thinned out with just over a week to Sweden's World Cup premiere in Riga. Wedin and Eklund are both injured, says the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. – I got a shot on the hand during the match (against the Czech Republic). This is not a remarkable injury really. It will heal quite quickly, but now it turned out the way it did, says 18-year-old animal farmer Eklund to Sportbladet.
