We have known for some time that BMW is working on the restyling of the iX3 electric SUV. Although this model was presented last year, the car manufacturer intends to immediately implement the novelties; that will arrive with the restyling of the X3 whose debut is; expected shortly. Of this model, so far, we have only seen some spy photos of prototypes on the road engaged in some tests. Now, thanks to a & quot; news leak & quot; from China where the electric SUV & egrave; product, the first real photos of the restyling model have arrived, including the endothermic one. Curiously, the same thing happened before the official launch of the iX3 last year.

THE FIRST DIFFERENCES
The photos obviously do not allow you to discover all the news; update but at least allow you to notice the first differences in terms of design with the current model. There is no some twists in the look, but several tweaks that allow you to make the battery-powered SUV a bit more gritty. Frontally, you can see a different design of the double kidney (obviously closed), of the headlights and above all of the shapes of the lower air intakes.

Small tweaks also to the rear, in particular at the level of the optical groups. Behind, the design & egrave; however very clean given the absence of the tailpipes. The endothermic model presents the same novelties. Obviously, given the presence of a combustion engine, you can see the tailpipes. Furthermore, the double kidney is not; closed.
As for the interior, there are no photos showing them. As this is a restyling, no particular news is expected. There will probably be some minor detail changes and perhaps the new iDrive 8 version of the infotainment system could arrive. All things that will be discovered when BMW presents; officially the restyling of its SUV. The wait should not be particularly long since we are talking about a few months.
Always talking about the electric model, on the front of the engines & egrave; BMW is unlikely to introduce any new features. Although there has been speculation of a dual-engine version, it will almost certainly remain; still the current powertrain consisting of a single electric motor capable of delivering 210 kW/286 hp with a maximum torque of 400 Nm. Thanks to the 80 kWh battery (74 kWh usable), the # 39; current iX3 & egrave; able to travel up to 460 km according to the WLTP cycle.
