Drottninghögsbadet goes to the grave – plantations replace

The city's and Ikea's joint investment in a food market is now taking shape. The bath at Drottninghög will be replaced by farms, in HD's old printing house there will be a kitchen and inside the district a food market. What it will cost and how many jobs it will be able to provide is still unclear.

As recently as 2018, a record number of visitors was broken with 40,000 bathers. Now a new investment in the same place will help to lift the district.
