Volkswagen has unveiled the restyling of its Tiguan Allspace. This is an important model for the German manufacturer given that around 1.5 million units have been sold since its launch in 2017. Let's see the main news update.

DESIGN AND INTERIORS

Two illuminated USB-C ports and the compartment for inductive charging of the smartphone are located in a clearly visible and usable position under the air conditioner.
ENGINES AND SAFETY 
The new Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace pu & ograve; rely on petrol and diesel engines . As for the former, the 150 bhp (110 kW) 4-cylinder 1.5 TSI with 6-speed manual gearbox (7-speed DSG gearbox available on request) has the ACT active cylinder management system (only with front-wheel drive) . The two 2.0 TSIs are paired as standard with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and transmit their power of 190 PS (140 kW) or 245 PS (180 kW) to all four wheels.
On the other hand, the 2.0 liter direct injection turbodiesels with 150 hp (110 kW) and 200 hp (147 kW) are mated to a twin SCR catalytic converter with double AdBlue injection (twindosing). With this technology the emissions of nitrogen oxides have been reduced, thus; such as those of CO2. These units have the 7-speed DSG gearbox. The less performing engine can & ograve; be chosen with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The most powerful, however, only with all-wheel drive.
Speaking of safety, the SUV can & ograve; rely on advanced ADAS systems that make driving more comfortable; safety. In particular, it can & ograve; have the Travel Assist which offers Level 2 assisted driving up to a speed; maximum speed of 210 km/h.

With the Elegance version, the SUV can & ograve; count on chrome on the outside and on the inside, 19-inch light alloy wheels and 30-color ambient lighting. Finally, with the R-Line trim, the new Tiguan Allspace gains the multifunction sports leather steering wheel with touch controls and R-Line logo, decorative inserts in Carbon Gray, the pedals and footrest in stainless steel and the Digital Cockpit Pro. Available is the Black Style package for exteriors that give an even more look; gritty to the car.
