The posts were written mainly on Christmas Day 2018 and contained threats such as “bullet in the head is love” and the like.

– There were repeated death threats, with pictures of executions. They have cut pictures of my head, and written very explicit things. My impression was that it was a completely obsessed person, says Anders Lindberg to Aftonbladet.

The man has stated that he was drunk on the day in question and does not remember that he wrote the messages.

He is sentenced to a suspended sentence with a 50-day fine of SEK 50. The man must also pay SEK 5,000 in damages to Anders Lindberg.

According to the district court, the threats were directed “at Anders Lindberg in his capacity as a journalist” and “aimed at influencing public opinion in the long run”.

He is the third person convicted of unlawful threats against Anders Lindberg. Another person has been banned from contact, writes Aftonbladet.
