Last year, Ford launched the new generation of the Bronco and immediately received excellent feedback from part of its customers. However, at the time of its debut many wondered why & eacute; an electric version had not been planned as the automaker is pushing a lot towards electrification of its cars. Apparently, there would be the possibility; that the American brand may in the future propose a battery-powered variant of the new Bronco.

FORD BRONCO ELECTRIC

The clues that suggest this possibility; come directly from Ford's CEO, Jim Farley and Mike Levine , North America Product Communications manager at Ford. Responding to a series of tweets, they both hinted that there might be some plan to offer this model in an electric version.

At this point it is not possible to do nothing but be patient and wait for any statements from the car manufacturer to understand something more. However, an electric Ford Bronco could make a lot of sense from the standpoint of the brand's electrification strategy. The good sales success of the Mustang Mach-E has shown that it is; It is possible to combine an iconic brand like that of the Mustang to create a battery-powered model. The same operation could therefore be replicated with the Bronco.

However, if there will be; really an electric version of this model, will not arrive & agrave; certainly soon. Ford, in fact, after the launch of the Mustang Mach-E- is preparing to present the F-150 Lightning electric pickup which will later arrive; on the American market in the course of 2022. An eventual electric Bronco could go to deal directly with the Rivian models and the new electric Hummer.
