With its refreshed UX, Windows 10X should become the operating system of the future from Microsoft and yet it has no future. As the website ZDNet reports, the developers have already been withdrawn from the project. At least this year, Windows 10X should no longer appear and be incorporated into a “new” Windows.
Windows 10X has no future for the time being
Windows 10X, shown for the first time in October 2019 on the Surface Neo with two displays, was supposed to be Microsoft's answer to Google's Chrome OS cloud operating system as a simple, albeit more modern, Windows 10 version and, after several postponements, first on single-screen devices and later also be used on dual-screen devices like the Neo.

Full power for Sun Valley
Rather, it is assumed that Microsoft will release Windows 10 with the design update “Project Sun Valley” in a further slimmed-down version of Windows 10.
The website refers to internal sources that should be familiar with the project.
That this time there is more than “just” another postponement is determined by further evidence. For example, Microsoft is said to have already removed all internal developer versions from its own servers and withdrew the developers from the project.
The focus of development work is currently on Windows 21H1 and the “Cobalt “Baptized release Windows 21H2 in the second half of the year.
Windows 10X follows Windows RT
Windows 10X could thus be the next unsuccessful attempt by Microsoft to put Windows 10 on a broader basis. Nowadays hardly anyone speaks of Windows RT and Windows 10S, which still exist but has a shadowy existence.
Microsoft itself has not yet come to a possible end of Windows 10X said that this information should be treated with caution.
