Domestic. The Swedish Public Health Agency reported Samnytt writer Mira Aksoy, 23, to MSB for suspected information influence on behalf of foreign powers after she wrote an article in January 2020 where it appeared that corona could be spread to Sweden. Something that FHM claimed could not happen.

It is Samnytt themselves who reveal that the press manager and former SR journalist Christer Janson sent an email to MSB on January 28, where he reported that “movements on social media” criticized the Public Health Agency.

< "There is an increased risk that foreign powers will use the situation to arouse concern through the influence of information," Janson wrote and continued:

“What we have seen is, among other things”, followed by a link to a Twitter post where Mira Aksoy links to an article she wrote on Samnytt.

The article is about a man who was allowed to travel from Wuhan to Sweden , despite the fact that he may be a carrier, without the Swedish Public Health Agency making any attempt to investigate whether he was infected.

Mira Aksoy is critical of the authority's decision to report her to MSB because of the article.

– It's completely obscene. The media should examine those in power and politicians – and that is exactly what I did. My article on the corona situation questions their decision. Then one spontaneously wonders what foreign power they think I should favor. In my opinion, my reporting on government shortcomings rather benefits citizens in Sweden, she tells Samhällsnytt.

Another user, Mickael, also criticized the authority and was also reported as an agent of foreign power. He says to Samhällsnytt:

– Freedom of expression does not exist in Sweden. It's just a scam. We are heading for a dictatorial state. If you tell the truth in Sweden, you become a security risk.

After his career at SR and SVT, Christer Janson worked according to Samnytt at NATO, where he worked with “Psychological Operations”. He also worked at the Swedish Armed Forces' psyops unit before getting a job at the then SMI, now FHM. However, he refuses to answer why he reported various critical private individuals to a Swedish security service, despite persistent questions from Samnytt.

– I actually have no comment. That was a long time ago… and I do not remember, he says.

He also refuses to tell what will happen to the people he reported to MSB.
