Archive.Picture: Lars Pehrson/SvD/TT In May, seven of the State Service Center's offices will take over parts of the activities that the Public Employment Service offers on its customer squares, reports the magazine Publikt. ”We look forward to welcoming jobseekers and employers to guide them in Arbetsförmedlingen's digital services, ”says Åsa Lindh, Director General of the State Service Center, in a press release. Thus, Arbetsförmedlingen's service will also be available in the towns of Borås, Halmstad, Helsingborg, Karlstad, Linköping, Skövde and Varberg. The services will be available at a total of 99 offices in the country. The purpose is for jobseekers and employers to have the opportunity for spontaneous visits. The service offices can help with simple matters such as activity reporting and filling in forms. An agreement on cooperation between the Swedish Public Employment Service and the State Service Center was signed in July 2019.
