New installer and dark theme

In addition to a new dark theme, the free operating system receives a revised graphical installer and extended support for Flatpak package management including integration into the in-house app store .

The “Pantheon Desktop Environment”, written in the object-oriented programming language Vala, borrows a lot from Gnome and macOS – which are also of an optical nature – and relies on the already established free program library GTK. The latest version of the free desktop environment is said to have made further progress, particularly in terms of multi-gesture control.
