“We strive to have a norm-critical perspective, so that our texts are inclusive and strengthening”, explains 1177 The care guide. “That our guidelines follow a norm-critical perspective means that we constantly need to pay attention to words and formulations that may seem exclusive or evaluative”, it is further stated.
Instead, texts about advice for pregnant women, for example, should be gender neutral . There may be pregnant women who identify themselves as other than women, according to 1177 Vårdguiden.
