Despite the tag on the Board and kick the staff: The German soccer champion Bayern ends in Munich rushes from record to record. Championship title and Cup victory last season, a financial flight of fancy follows.
Football record champion Bayern Munich has completed the financial year 2018/2019, with a new record turnover, although the club is currently in a phase of upheaval. The total turnover of the group increased from 657,4 million euros to 750,4 million euros. This corresponds to a growth of 14.1 per cent, said the FC Bayern on Wednesday.
Also the profit of the Munich-based best marks achieved. Before taxes (EBIT) amounts to € 75.3 million (prior year: 46.2), profit after tax amounts to EUR 52.5 million (previous year: EUR 29.5). The group’s equity is FC Bayern München AG rose to 497,4 million euros.
According to chief financial officer Jan-Christian Dreesen, all areas of the FC Bayern, have contributed positively to the overall result. “The revenue from the game mode, and the TV area can be increased, and in the case of the sponsorship revenue we have achieved new record values,” said Dreesen.
Bonuses for all
“With the financial development of the FC Bayern of course, we are extremely satisfied. Both the turnover and the profit increased to a new best brands. FC Bayern is thus in a sporty and economical at an excellent rate,” said Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Also, the employees of Bavaria benefited from the renewed rise in sales and profits. The Board paid off as a thank you, two additional salaries as a Bonus.
